What's worse...

than being 38+ weeks pregnant and having the stomach flu? Being 38 weeks pregnant, having the stomach flu AND your little boy having his first bout of the stomach bug at the same time. Thank goodness for the best husband ever who has been taking care of his two sickies! And thank goodness Max is such a happy sick kid. He hasn't had any real manifestations of being sick other than not eating hardly at all yesterday, sleeping a whole lot and cuddling constantly. Otherwise he's been singing and joking and making us laugh still. Ty always wants to snuggle with Max and rarely gets the chance so I think this has been kind of fun for Ty. "This too shall pass..." and then we'll really be ready for the little lady to make her entrance! Boy, are we ready!

Oh I am so sorry! I wish I could be there to help you out while you are sick. That is so not fun or fair to you to have to deal with that on top of being so pregnant. Maybe once this is all over Kelly will be ready to come :) We can all hope and pray for that. Take it easy and get better!

Oh man - that stinks! Hope you and Max start feeling better really soon. At least Max is keeping his spirits up! He is going to be a really great big brother. Such a sweet and funny little guy!
Love you Dana! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Kelly will make her appearance really soon! :)

It could be a blessing in disguise, our friend had this happen and it put her into labor. I don't think I'd want to give birth with the flu, but at least she gave birth.

I'm glad Amy doesn't have the flu, the first trimester is hard enough on both of us right now.

I really feel your pain.. not the 38 weeks pregnant part, but being sick is the worst! but cuddling with sick kids isn't SO bad! Good luck with everything!

I totally feel for you. I got the flu when I was 38 weeks pregnant with Karly and it was so awful! I feel bad for you and your little man. Hopefully it will pass quickly! Thanks goodness for such a sweet husband.

Here's hoping you go into labor very soon . . .

(Cytotec 25 mcg by mouth every 4 hours until you have onset of labor . . . Shhh!)

I am so sorry to hear you are so sick. I empathize completely, being so far along in your pregnancy is like being run over by a truck and then to be so sick is like the truck backs into you again just to make sure you are completely worn out! I am praying for you lots of love to you

I now don't feel as bad for myself and both of my girls getting the flu. I don't think I would be able to handle pregnant also. I'm just glad Spencer hasn't caught it. I hope the baby comes soon.

I have to check your blog like every day to see if you've had that baby yet!! I'm so excited for you all, and I can't wait to see pictures of the little lady!

I'm wishing we lived closer together. Our boys could play and we could run, bike or swim together. You are AMAZING!

Oh yucky! That is not a good time at all. I remember how un-fun a heaving big belly is (although mine was just a daily thing due to the consumption of dinner). I hope you guys get better soon! Maybe this will get things moving with Miss Kelly!!!

Hope you get feeling better soon! Love you and good luck with everything!

I'm so sorry for you both! I got the stomach flu when I was about 7 months pregnant and had to go to the hospital and get an IV. NOT FUN. Nothing is worse than the flu in my book. Nothing.

I can't wait to see your little girl. Max is so handsome! Wish I could have been in Vegas when you were there too. It looked like fun.
